Browser Demonstration Video
The following video shows how the HyperVerse browser can be used for navigating the HyperVerse, displaying buildings and objects and accessing meta-information.

Simulation Videos
Simulations are an important tool to assess scalability with a large number of simulated users. The simulation environment TopGen has been implemented for this purpose. In the following you can download video captures of TopGen's HyperVerse simulation runs.
An important choice of any DVE is which interest management scheme shall be used. The following video shows a single peer with its Field of View (FoV), Area of Interest (AoI) and how both change when the user moves. The data traffic pattern is simulated as well. Objects in the client's download queue are highlighted in red, objects in the client's cache are shown in green.

Simulation of single client (2.6 MB, DivX)
The following video shows a simulation of 200 clients in an area with a non-uniform object distribution. Clients preferentially move towards regions with a high density of objects. Clients with intersecting AoIs are interconnected in a peer overlay. Links in this overlay are indicated by blue lines.

Simulation of 200 Clients (6.2 MB, DivX)
In order to provide maximum scalability, we have developed a probabilistic prefetching technique. It efficiently provides a prediction of highest-traffic regions to each client. The following video shows a simulation of this scheme with 200 clients. Predictions of high-traffic regions are shown as red-shaded areas. More information on Epidemic Hoarding can be found in our Publication section.
